It’s June 2025, and I am on a mission to market my 2024 contemporary fiction eBook, Flights of Fancy, and its 2025 sequel, Gossamer Wings.
Since I have been focused on writing and self-publishing four major works of fiction since 2015, marketing experts would say–and it is a fair commentary– “It’s about time!”
So, I have come up for air, and I am focused on spreading my news. To that end, I’m delighted to share the Instagram endorsement of the editor who proofed both works.
From my first experience being edited in the 1980s for five 3,500-word feature articles in a New York magazine to 20+ articles published in The New York Times in the 1990s to the last corporation internet article about information technology in 2014, I found this editor to be the most engaged in the process.
My Editorial Comment
Her track changes proved she was a stickler for adhering to my pesky style guidelines, defending Merriam Webster’s guidelines and following my story line. We are talking about a story line strung out over two eBooks with a total of 140,000 words. Requires tremendous concentration. Her comments were clear, on target and often hilarious.
Although understandably busy with months of editorial projects, she took the time to shout out to her followers about my fiction.

Bird and Bear Editorial Services Instagram post about my 2024 and 2025 contemporary fiction eBooks. “If you’re into contemporary women’s fiction, try out Reggie Morrisey’s Sage Anthony duet! (Peep the beautiful cover artwork by Reggie’s artist husband!) @oftwominds2 is the sweetest and I think you’ll enjoy Sage’s antics, which take place before and during the Covid pandemic.”
