As I discovered in the 1980s – when my personal sky is falling – it is best to shift gear into a creative mode.  Whether nearing a desert, mountain, or new shore—sketching and painting in watercolor are among my finest diverting passions. 

With a fondness for Tiffany's stained glass, I had set out to paint in his manner, edging all objects in black. The results are presented on this page, and here and there on the site.

Being observant in art requires the brain power otherwise wasted fretting over the future. As a bonus, seeing things as an artist makes my senses more  acute as a poet and writer.
